Unity Links is a community-awareness, education, and informational platform. It is not a law-enforcement agency, emergency dispatcher, government agency, private-investigation service, legal service, medical provider, or child-protection agency.
Use of Unity Links does not create an official police report, attorney-client relationship, professional-client relationship, or duty to investigate, locate, rescue, protect, monitor, or respond.
2. No Guarantee of Results
Unity Links does not guarantee that:
- A missing person will be located or returned safely.
- An alert, post, email, message, or notification will be delivered, viewed, shared, or acted upon.
- A submission will be accepted, published, verified, updated, or removed within a particular time.
- A user, volunteer, provider, organization, source, or profile is who they claim to be.
- The Services will prevent harm, crime, exploitation, or disappearance.
3. Accuracy and Verification of Information
Information may come from users, families, official agencies, public records, news organizations, partners, automated feeds, or other third parties. Although Unity Links may review or compare information with official sources, we do not independently verify every fact and do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, authenticity, or continued availability.
Always confirm important case information with the investigating agency or official source listed on the alert. Do not publicly accuse, confront, or take action against a person based only on information found on Unity Links.
4. No Vigilante Activity
Unity Links does not authorize surveillance, pursuit, tracking, confrontation, detention, rescue attempts, entry onto private property, interference with an investigation, or any other form of vigilante action.
Report sightings and credible tips directly to law enforcement. Call 911 when immediate danger exists. Your personal safety and compliance with official instructions must come first.
5. User-Generated Content
Users are responsible for the information and content they submit. Unity Links is not responsible for false, defamatory, misleading, outdated, unauthorized, infringing, or unlawful user content.
Unity Links may moderate or remove content but is not obligated to identify every violation before harm occurs. The presence of content on the platform does not mean Unity Links endorses or confirms it.
6. Educational and Resource Information
Safety courses, articles, community discussions, provider information, and other resources are for general educational and informational purposes. They are not professional legal, medical, mental-health, emergency, investigative, or child-welfare advice.
Seek advice from a qualified professional or appropriate authority for your specific situation.
7. Third-Party Services and External Links
Unity Links may link to or display content from law-enforcement agencies, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, news organizations, social networks, resource providers, or other third parties. Unity Links does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, accuracy, or actions.
A link, listing, badge, mention, or profile does not necessarily constitute endorsement, certification, partnership, or guarantee.
8. Law-Enforcement and Legal Cooperation
Unity Links may preserve or disclose information when permitted or required by law, legal process, court order, or a valid request from an appropriate authority, or when reasonably necessary to address a credible child-safety or public-safety risk.
Unity Links cannot guarantee that an authority will investigate, respond, provide updates, or take a particular action.
9. Misuse and False Reporting
False reports, hoaxes, harassment, impersonation, exploitation, scams, unauthorized fundraising, doxxing, and interference with investigations are prohibited. Misuse may lead to content removal, account restrictions, termination, preservation of records, and referral to authorities.
10. Technology and Availability
Websites, databases, forms, email systems, APIs, networks, third-party feeds, and devices can fail or experience delays. Unity Links does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, real-time delivery, data preservation, compatibility, or freedom from harmful code.
Services may be modified, restricted, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or other reasons.
11. Emotional and Sensitive Content
Missing-person cases and child-safety topics can be distressing. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to engage with this material. Take breaks, use content controls where available, and seek appropriate support when needed.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unity Links and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, developers, partners, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss, injury, emotional distress, reputational harm, data loss, missed alerts, technical failures, third-party actions, or reliance on information obtained through the Services.
Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Applicable rights and limitations vary by jurisdiction.

By using Unity Links, you accept responsibility for:
- Verifying important information through official sources.
- Protecting your account, privacy, devices, and personal safety.
- Following law-enforcement instructions and applicable laws.
- Using the Services in good faith and in accordance with all Unity Links policies.
